About this program

Supplementary Jewish education program on Mercer Island for preschoolers through seventh graders, run by the Herzl-Ner Tamid Conservative Congregation. Students build a foundation in Hebrew language, Torah, Israel, Jewish holidays, and mitzvot and middot. Preschool through second grade meets once a week and third through seventh grade twice a week, with in-person and Zoom options. Older students continue through the Millstone program for seventh and eighth graders and the Jewish Learning Experience for high schoolers. Preschool classes are open to the wider community; kindergarten and up require congregation membership.
