Issaquah Parks Preschool

About this program

The City of Issaquah Parks & Recreation Department has run its own community-based, part-time preschool since 1996. Two options are offered: a traditional preschool for ages 3-5 and a parent-participation Toddler Playgroup for ages 2-3, both taught by city-employed early-childhood teachers. Classes focus on socialization, cooperation, listening skills and kindergarten readiness, and meet at two downtown Issaquah locations - the Issaquah Community Center (301 Rainier Blvd S) and Memorial Park Center (105 2nd Ave NE). This is a school-year program that follows a September-to-June calendar rather than running year-round; registration is handled through the city recreation portal.
