Bellevue Parks & Recreation Youth Sports
Bellevue, WA
Ages 3–13About this program
The City of Bellevue Parks & Community Services youth sports programme runs low-cost instructional leagues, clinics and camps at city parks and community centres, with the stated aim of taking all comers regardless of skill. Offerings rotate by season and have included a coed instructional soccer league (Mighty Mites 5-6 and Youth 7-9) at Robinswood Community Park, youth flag football (7-13), youth cross country running (6-13) at Lake Hills Community Park, Jets Gymnastics classes (6-12) and pre-season basketball clinics run with Local Hoops at Crossroads Community Center, a Girls Basketball Club and scrimmage series (6-12) at Tyee Community Gym, indoor youth multi-sport (7-13), and McVander ball hockey from Little Sticks PeeWee (3-5) through Next-Level (6-11). Sessions are typically four to seven weeks long and change every quarter, so which sports are available depends on the season; financial assistance is available to Bellevue residents.
