Seasonal outdoor pool in Cottage Lake Park, owned by King County and operated by the Northshore YMCA, open from late June through the end of August. Summer group swim lessons run on the YMCA staged progression from parent-and-child classes up through stroke development, with private lessons released monthly, plus Safety Around Water, recreational swim and birthday parties. The four-lane pool is kept at 84 degrees and has a water slide; swimmers under 14 may be asked to pass a swim test to use the pool unaccompanied.
